PRO|LOCK is a specialised protective coating that treats interlaced cracking, reduces water intrusion into the subbase, provides a new surface profile (patch) for heavily coarsed asphalt.

STEELGUARD XL is a polymer modified slate and mineral filed black bitumen emulsion asphalt sealer. It has a high resistance to power steering marks, less tyre scuffing. Tough and durable.

Asphalt Surface Repair Kit includes:

  • One PRO|LOCK kit comprising 1 x Pro|Lock pail of 10 L (in 20 L container*) and 10 kg RaynGrit*

  • One pail of SteelGuard XL: 20 L

  • An auger for mixing PRO|LOCK and SteelGuard XL

  • Squeegee for application

  • Material Safety and Product Technical Data sheets.

* (Two part kit, combine and mix prior to application.)

APPLICATION:

  • Combine smaller 10 L pail of RaynGrit with larger half full 20 L pail and blend with electric drill homogeneously for several minutes 

  • Once poured on surface strike material flush with pavement using a squeegee or broom. Multiple layers may be applied to achieve desired thickness/depth. Layers should be applied incrementally (no more than 5mm in depth for each layer).

  • Apply protective top coat, with SteelGuard XL prior to opening up to traffic

  • Combined PRO|LOCK mix will cover approx. 10 m2.
