PRO|LOCK is a specialised protective coating that can be applied to sections of pavement to treat cracking.

Extend the life of your pavement. Lock in existing aggregates.

PRO|LOCK is a specialized protective coating that treats interlaced cracking, reduces water intrusion into the subbase, provides a new surface profile for heavily coarse asphalt pavements and most importantly, locks in the existing aggregate, binder and fines in the asphalt matrix.

  • Driveways and Carparks. Avoid redoing your whole driveway, repair the surface of your asphalt driveway or carpark.

  • Shared Paths and Roads. A more economical solution over mill and fill, then full resurfacing. Minimised traffic management operations.

  •  Airports. Lock in FOD. Seal surface cracking. Economically and efficiently repair pavement surfaces without major disruption to services.

Designed to extend the life of asphalt through preventative maintenance rather than remove and replace.

Used in conjunction with SteelGuard XL, PRO|LOCK is designed to be an underlying base to remedy or build up deformed or cracked surfaces .

PRO|LOCK is formulated as an affordable and environmentally friendly option. Once pavement deteriorates, weakens and begins to shed particles, traditional repair options are expensive and come with other considerations. PRO|LOCK has been engineered to bring life back into pavement and extend its working life while at the same time locks in all the existing aggregate, binder and fines in the asphalt matrix.

Very effective in aviation environments when used in conjunction with SteelGuard XL:

  • Reduces water intrusion

  • Reduces FOD

  • Cracks and deviations filled and protected.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATONS

Application

  • Pavement must be cleaned of all dirt and vegetation prior to application.

  • Combine smaller 10 Litre pail of RaynGrit with larger half full 20 Litre pail and blend with electric drill homogeneously for several minutes.

Drying & Curing

  • Drying time is dependent on application depth and climatic conditions. Allow for a minimum of 30 minutes.
